Publishing a public site (no password, not unlisted) or connecting your own domain needs a verified phone number on the account, or a payment method on the project. The user verifies once at https://app.hypamoon.com/verify-phone by calling us from their own phone; we never answer and never call or text back. verify_url and next_step are in the error. Until then, a site with a password (or an unlisted site) works without it. This only applies when phone verification is switched on for Hypamoon.

With the trust model for free sites switched on, sites, data, forms and connecting your own domain only need an email address. The verified phone moves to what reaches people or moves money: ordering a phone number, outbound calls, text messages, email from your own domain, real payments on a site, buying a domain and agents that send messages. There a payment method does not replace the phone. A project whose site an automated review was unsure about needs the verified phone for public sites and domains too.
