How to report a site, number or message on Hypamoon that looks like phishing, fraud, spam or other misuse, what we do with your report, and how fast.
How to report.
The report form. For a site on hypamoon.app, use the report form. You don't need an account, and your email address is optional.
The Report link on the site. Every free site carries a small badge with a Report link. It opens the same form with the site already filled in.
Email. For anything else, like a call or text from a Hypamoon number, write to abuse@hypamoon.com. Send the address of the site or the number, the date and time, and what you saw.
How fast we act.
Every report starts the clock. A person at Hypamoon reads it and decides what to do.
- Phishing, malware and fraud
Within hours, weekends too - Intimate images shared without consent
Removed within 48 hours - Everything else
Within one business day
What we do.
- We look at every reportWe check the site or number you reported against our terms and the law.
- Offline, not deletedA site that breaks the rules goes offline. Visitors see that it's unavailable. We keep the files, as evidence and so the site can come back if we got it wrong.
- The owner hears whyThe owner gets an email explaining what we did, why, and on what grounds, and can object by replying. We look at every objection and share the outcome.
- Numbers and accountsFor misuse of a number we can block calls, pause a project or close the account.
Our own checks.
Every site is checked when it is published. Fake login pages, card fields, hidden frames, forms that send to another site and obfuscated scripts don't go live.
Every day we also check the addresses of public sites, and the links on them, against lists of known phishing and malware sites. A site that shows up there goes offline right away, and then a person reviews it.
Your privacy when you report.
We store the email and IP address of the person reporting only as a keyed hash, for 30 days, so we can spot repeated reports without knowing who sent them. More in the privacy statement.
For authorities.
Authorities, courts and trusted flaggers reach us at abuse@hypamoon.com. You can write in English or Dutch.
Hypamoon, Lorentzstraat 89, 2665 JG Bleiswijk, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 42000833.
Intimate images shared without consent.
Is an intimate image or video of you on a Hypamoon site or app, shared without your consent? That includes images made or altered with AI. Email abuse@hypamoon.com with the subject "Intimate image". You can also report for someone else if you are allowed to act for them.
Include: where it appears (the address of the page or file), a short statement that you are the person shown, or act for them, and that it was shared without consent, your name as your signature, and how we can reach you. Nothing more is needed.
What we do. We remove it within 48 hours of your report, and also take down copies we can find on Hypamoon. The owner of the site or app hears that it was removed and why, but not who reported it.
Copyright.
Think something on a Hypamoon site or app infringes your copyright? Send a notice to our designated agent. Include: the work you say is infringed; the material and where it appears on Hypamoon, such as the address of the page or file; your name, address, phone number and email address; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
We take the material down or block access to it, and tell the owner of the site or app why, with a copy of the notice.
Designated agent: Copyright Agent, Hypamoon, Lorentzstraat 89, 2665 JG Bleiswijk, the Netherlands. Phone +31 85 083 5952. Email dmca@hypamoon.com. Registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as DMCA-1082859.
Counter-notice.
Was your material taken down by mistake, or because it was mistaken for something else? Send a counter-notice to dmca@hypamoon.com. Include: the material that was removed and where it was before; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or, if your address is outside the United States, of any judicial district in which Hypamoon may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice; and your physical or electronic signature.
We send your counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within that time that they have gone to court to stop the infringement, we put the material back no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we received your counter-notice, as 17 U.S.C. 512(g) sets out.
Knowingly claiming something false in a notice or a counter-notice can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. 512(f)).
Repeat infringers.
We close the accounts of customers who infringe copyright again and again. Each valid notice that leads us to take material down counts as a strike against the account, unless a counter-notice puts the material back. A strike lapses after 12 months.
At three strikes within 12 months we close the account and the projects in it, and the same person or business may not open a new one. We may close an account sooner for a clear and deliberate infringement. The owner hears about every strike, with the notice.
