The buyer gets the card as a PDF; the person it is for gets it on the day the buyer picks.
What it does.
- A card in your styleThe name, colour, fonts and logo of your site, as a PDF that prints well and forwards easily.
- On the right dayStraight to the person it is for, now or on a date the buyer picks, with a message.
- At the deskType the code or scan the QR with your phone, see the balance, take off part or all.

- An amount or a treatmentFifty euros, or One haircut. Fixed amounts, an open amount, or both.
- Two years, by defaultValid for at least 24 months, as Dutch law asks for gift cards sold to consumers.
A code is money. We treat it that way.
The code is never stored in readable form, and the window on your site never shows it. The same request twice never takes money off twice, and a balance never goes below zero.
A full refund of an order puts the gift card part back on the card, and cancels cards from that order that were not used yet. A card past its date expires by itself, and its history says so.
Before you start.
Can my staff redeem without full access?
Yes, if you allow it: team members who can only view may redeem at the desk. Only an owner or builder can issue or cancel a card.
Can I give one away, as a thank-you or an apology?
Yes. Your chat issues a card without a payment, with a reason, and emails it as a PDF if you like.
What about VAT?
A card for several things carries VAT when it is used; a card for one thing with a known rate, when it is sold. Ask your accountant if you are not sure.
Can I sell gift cards without a webshop?
Yes. A gift card is one product with a buy button on any page of your site.
