Connect Visma.net ERP to Hypamoon

Possible, with help from Visma.net ERP. The API is documented, but you cannot just create a key: access goes through Visma.net ERP first.

Possible

The check

Three questions about the API of Visma.net ERP, answered from its own docs.

Public API docs
Yes. Swagger documentation and guides are public. Read the docs
A key you create yourself
No. You register the app yourself in the Visma Developer Portal, but an API integration can need approval by the Visma API team, and the customer must approve it in the Visma App Store. docs.connect.visma.com
Versions or a changelog
Yes. Release notes per API version. community.visma.com
How it signs in
OAuth 2.0 through Visma Connect; server integrations use client credentials with the customer's tenant ID, and tokens last at most 60 minutes.
Webhooks
Yes. It can tell your app when something changes. community.visma.com
Hosting
Cloud
Condition
An API integration may need approval by Visma, and the customer approves it in the Visma App Store.

In practice

What it takes in a real Visma.net ERP administration.

Getting access
The developer registers the app in the Visma Developer Portal and asks for the ERP API scopes (some need approval by the Visma API team); the customer's administrator then approves the integration in the Visma App Store for their company.
Limits
Visma's knowledge base gives 15,000 calls per hour per company for production clients and 500 per hour per company for test clients, plus at most 5 identical requests per minute. community.visma.com
Writing
Read and write. Create and update customers and sales orders, and create invoices, through the REST API.
Cost
Not published.

What you can build

A customer portal that places sales orders straight in Visma.net and shows the order status, and a chat check on open invoices per customer.

Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work

Good to know

  • Visma.net ERP signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Visma.net ERP takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
  • Webhook subscriptions are managed in the Visma Developer Portal.

Try it in your chat

First get access from Visma.net ERP. Then fill in what to read and write, and send it.

Say this in your chat

Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Visma.net ERP. API docs: https://docs.connect.visma.com/docs/service-applications. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].

In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Visma.net ERP is a name of its owner, used here only to describe the software. This page is not an official integration and Hypamoon has no partnership with Visma.net ERP. Found something that changed? Tell us at support.

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.

The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.

Say this in your chat

Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.

Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
