Connect Ramp to Hypamoon
Yes, with one catch. Ramp has an open API that you can use yourself, but it signs in with OAuth only, and that takes more work in a Hypamoon adapter today.
OpenThe check
Three questions about the API of Ramp, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- Yes. An admin creates a developer app under Company, Developer, adds the client credentials grant and scopes, and copies the client ID and secret. docs.ramp.com
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. Versioned paths (/developer/v1/) and a public changelog. docs.ramp.com
- How it signs in
- Client ID and secret of your developer app exchanged for an access token with the client credentials grant; authorization code for third party apps.
- Webhooks
- Yes. It can tell your app when something changes. docs.ramp.com
- Hosting
- Cloud
What you can build
Pull card transactions, bills and reimbursements into your books, and approve or reject pending items from your chat.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Ramp signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Ramp takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
- Standard limit is 200 requests per 10 seconds per source IP; going over can block calls for 60 seconds. Scopes decide what the token may read or change.
Try it in your chat
Fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Ramp. API docs: https://docs.ramp.com/developer-api/v1/getting-started. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
Ready to connect Ramp?
Connect your chat once, then ask it to build the adapter.
