Connect sevDesk to Hypamoon
Yes. sevDesk has a public, versioned API and you create the key yourself, so your chat can write the adapter.

Three questions about the API of sevDesk, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- Yes. Every sevDesk administrator has an API token in the user settings and can generate a new one. api.sevdesk.de
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. Versioned path (/api/v1) and a versioned OpenAPI spec (2.0.0). api.sevdesk.de
- How it signs in
- 32 character API token of an administrator in the Authorization header; it does not expire while the user exists.
- Webhooks
- No. api.sevdesk.de
- Hosting
- Cloud
In practice
What it takes in a real sevDesk administration.
- Getting access
- Sign in as an administrator, copy the API token from the user settings, and send it in the Authorization header.
- Limits
- None published.
- Writing
- Read and write. Create and change contacts, invoices, orders, credit notes and vouchers.
- Cost
- Not published.
What you can build
Create contacts, invoices and vouchers from your chat or a form, and look up open invoices without logging in.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Your adapter uses a fixed key: you paste it once in the Hypamoon portal, never in the chat, and it only goes to the API host you allow.
- Deleting the user deletes its token. Accounts on the newer bookkeeping system (sevdesk Update 2.0) have different tax rules, which an endpoint can check.
Try it in your chat
Fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for sevDesk. API docs: https://api.sevdesk.de/. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
Ready to connect sevDesk?
Connect your chat once, then ask it to build the adapter.
