Connect Unit4 ERPx to Hypamoon
Possible, with help from Unit4 ERPx. The API is documented, but you cannot just create a key: access goes through Unit4 ERPx first.
PossibleThe check
Three questions about the API of Unit4 ERPx, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- No. Machine to machine client IDs and secrets are issued by Unit4 after tenant provisioning; customers can request up to 10. develop.unit4rd.com
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. Versions in the path and at least six months notice before a version is removed. develop.unit4rd.com
- How it signs in
- OAuth 2.0 tokens from Unit4 Identity Services; machine to machine clients use client credentials and tokens last one hour.
- Webhooks
- Yes. It can tell your app when something changes. develop.unit4rd.com
- Hosting
- Cloud
- Condition
- API credentials are requested from Unit4.
In practice
What it takes in a real Unit4 ERPx administration.
- Getting access
- Unit4 issues machine to machine client IDs and secrets after your tenant is provisioned (up to 10 per tenant); the client is linked to a user with the SUPER or SYSTEM role.
- Limits
- Per tenant, all clients together: 500 requests per minute and 500,000 per 24 hours, plus data transfer caps (350 MB in and 635 MB out per 5 minutes). At most 50,000 records per call and 220 seconds per call. develop.unit4rd.com
- Writing
- Read and write. Create and update records such as customers through the REST APIs; batch APIs exist for larger uploads.
- Cost
- Not published.
What you can build
A supplier or customer intake form that creates the record straight in ERPx, and a chat lookup of project and accounting data.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Unit4 ERPx signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Unit4 ERPx takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
- Limits are shared per tenant: 500 requests per minute and 500,000 per day. Events are delivered to Extension Kit flows.
Try it in your chat
First get access from Unit4 ERPx. Then fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Unit4 ERPx. API docs: https://develop.unit4rd.com/erpx. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
Ready to connect Unit4 ERPx?
Connect your chat once, then ask it to build the adapter.
