Connect Jortt to Hypamoon

Yes, with one catch. Jortt has an open API that you can use yourself, but it signs in with OAuth only, and that takes more work in a Hypamoon adapter today.

The check

Three questions about the API of Jortt, answered from its own docs.

Public API docs
Yes. Read the docs
A key you create yourself
Yes. For your own administration you register an OAuth application in your Jortt account and use client credentials. An app for other Jortt users needs a client registered by Jortt support. developer.jortt.nl
Versions or a changelog
Yes. Versioned endpoints (v3 is current, v1 is deprecated with Deprecation headers). developer.jortt.nl
How it signs in
OAuth 2.0. For your own administration: client credentials from an OAuth application you register in Jortt. For an app used by other administrations: authorization code flow. Access tokens last 2 hours.
Webhooks
No. developer.jortt.nl
Hosting
Cloud
Condition
The API refuses organizations without a jortt MKB or jortt Plus plan.

In practice

What it takes in a real Jortt administration.

Getting access
The account owner registers an OAuth application in Jortt (OAuth applications page in the account) with the scopes needed, and uses its client ID and secret. A tool for many Jortt users asks Jortt support for a client instead.
Limits
10 requests per second; at most 100 items per page. developer.jortt.nl
Writing
Read and write. Create and update customers and invoices (including sending them and credit invoices), and write estimates and expenses; ledger accounts are read only.
Cost
The docs name no separate API fee, but API calls need the jortt MKB or jortt Plus plan. developer.jortt.nl

What you can build

A web form that creates the customer and a draft invoice in Jortt straight away, and a weekly chat summary of open invoices per customer.

Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work

Good to know

  • Jortt signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Jortt takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
  • Rate limit is 10 requests per second; lists return at most 100 items per page. Jortt also offers an MCP server (beta).

Try it in your chat

Fill in what to read and write, and send it.

Say this in your chat

Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Jortt. API docs: https://developer.jortt.nl. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].

In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Jortt is a name of its owner, used here only to describe the software. This page is not an official integration and Hypamoon has no partnership with Jortt. Found something that changed? Tell us at support.

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.

The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.

Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.

Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
