Connect Oracle NetSuite to Hypamoon
Yes, with one catch. Oracle NetSuite has an open API that you can use yourself, but it signs in with OAuth only, and that takes more work in a Hypamoon adapter today.
OpenThe check
Three questions about the API of Oracle NetSuite, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Public NetSuite help center covering REST web services, SOAP web services and RESTlets. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- Yes. An administrator creates an integration record and the OAuth 2.0 setup in the account itself. docs.oracle.com
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. REST record API under /record/v1 and versioned NetSuite releases (for example 2026.1). docs.oracle.com
- How it signs in
- OAuth 2.0 (authorization code, or client credentials with a certificate for machine to machine); access tokens last 60 minutes. Older token-based authentication with signed requests still exists but Oracle recommends OAuth 2.0 for new integrations.
- Webhooks
- No. docs.oracle.com
- Hosting
- Cloud
In practice
What it takes in a real Oracle NetSuite administration.
- Getting access
- An administrator enables REST web services and OAuth 2.0 in the account features, creates an integration record under Setup, Integration, Manage Integrations, and for machine to machine access maps a certificate to a user and role under Manage Authentication, OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials (M2M) Setup.
- Limits
- Concurrent requests per account: 5 (Standard), 15 (Premium) or 20 (Enterprise and Ultimate), plus 10 per SuiteCloud Plus license. Development accounts stay at 5. docs.oracle.com
- Writing
- Read and write. Create and update records such as customers, sales orders and invoices through REST web services, within the permissions of the role you map.
- Cost
- More concurrent API requests need paid SuiteCloud Plus licenses. docs.oracle.com
What you can build
A web intake that creates the customer and the sales order straight in NetSuite, and a chat question that lists overdue invoices per customer with a draft reminder.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Oracle NetSuite signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Oracle NetSuite takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
- The API URL contains your account ID. Sandbox accounts need their own OAuth setup, also after every refresh. There are no built-in webhooks; sending events out takes a SuiteScript in your account.
Try it in your chat
Fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Oracle NetSuite. API docs: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_1544786256.html. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
