Connect Simplicate to Hypamoon
Yes. Simplicate has a public, versioned API and you create the key yourself, so your chat can write the adapter.
OpenThe check
Three questions about the API of Simplicate, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- Yes. Create an API key and secret yourself under the API section of the settings; the key gets the rights of the user it belongs to. developer.simplicate.com
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. v2 (REST) and v3 (RPC) side by side, with a dated changelog. developer.simplicate.com
- How it signs in
- An API key and secret you create in Simplicate, sent as Authentication-Key and Authentication-Secret headers (v2) or as a Bearer value (v3). Keys can have an expiry date.
- Webhooks
- Yes. It can tell your app when something changes. developer.simplicate.com
- Hosting
- Cloud
In practice
What it takes in a real Simplicate administration.
- Getting access
- An administrator opens the API section in the general settings, creates a key and secret for a user (best a dedicated user with only the rights needed) and sets an expiry date.
- Limits
- At least 60 requests per minute; limits can differ per endpoint; HTTP 429 when exceeded. developer.simplicate.com
- Writing
- Read and write. Create and update records through v2, for example project services, sales and invoices; v3 offers specific commands such as approvals.
- Cost
- API access is listed among the base features on the pricing page, without a surcharge. simplicate.com
What you can build
A web intake that creates the organization, contact person and a sales opportunity in Simplicate, and a Monday chat summary of hours not yet approved per project.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Your adapter uses a fixed key: you paste it once in the Hypamoon portal, never in the chat, and it only goes to the API host you allow.
- Expect at least 60 requests per minute; the API returns HTTP 429 when you go over the limit. Your account address is part of the API URL.
Try it in your chat
Fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Simplicate. API docs: https://developer.simplicate.com/. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
Ready to connect Simplicate?
Connect your chat once, then ask it to build the adapter.
