Connect OpenCart to Hypamoon

Not today. OpenCart has no public API, so there is nothing an adapter can safely build on.

The check

Three questions about the API of OpenCart, answered from its own docs.

Public API docs
No. Only an admin page about API users and allowed IP addresses; no public endpoint reference. Read the docs
A key you create yourself
Yes. You create an API user and key under System > Users > API and allow the calling IP addresses. docs.opencart.com
Versions or a changelog
Not confirmed.
How it signs in
An API username and key made in your own admin, limited to a list of allowed IP addresses.
Webhooks
No.
Hosting
Self-hosted

What you can do instead

Ask OpenCart whether they offer API access to customers. If a public API appears, ask your chat to check it again.

  • Your store must be reachable from the internet, and the IP address of the caller must be on the allowed list for the key.
  • The built-in API in OpenCart 3.x and 4.x covers carts, customers, payment and shipping for order editing, not products or a full catalog. A full REST API needs a third party extension.

OpenCart is a name of its owner, used here only to describe the software. This page is not an official integration and Hypamoon has no partnership with OpenCart. Found something that changed? Tell us at support.

Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.

The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.

Say this in your chat

Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.

Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
