Connect Marketo Engage to Hypamoon
Yes, with one catch. Marketo Engage has an open API that you can use yourself, but it signs in with OAuth only, and that takes more work in a Hypamoon adapter today.
OpenThe check
Three questions about the API of Marketo Engage, answered from its own docs.
- Public API docs
- Yes. Read the docs
- A key you create yourself
- Yes. An admin creates an API-only user and a custom service under Admin > LaunchPoint, which gives a client ID and secret. experienceleague.adobe.com
- Versions or a changelog
- Yes. Endpoints sit under /rest/v1/ and API changes are listed in the monthly release notes. experienceleague.adobe.com
- How it signs in
- Client ID and secret of a custom service; the client credentials grant gives a bearer token that lasts one hour.
- Webhooks
- Yes. It can tell your app when something changes. experienceleague.adobe.com
- Hosting
- Cloud
- Condition
- Only for companies with a Marketo Engage subscription; 50,000 calls per day per subscription, more through your account manager.
What you can build
Create or update leads from a form or chat, add them to a list or campaign, and read lead activity.
Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. How adapters work
Good to know
- Marketo Engage signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Marketo Engage takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
- Rate limit is 100 calls per 20 seconds. Marketo webhooks are outgoing calls from a smart campaign step.
Try it in your chat
Fill in what to read and write, and send it.
Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Marketo Engage. API docs: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo-developer/marketo/rest/rest-api. Read: [what]. Write: [what, or nothing].
In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. The full recipe

Marketo Engage is a name of its owner, used here only to describe the software. This page is not an official integration and Hypamoon has no partnership with Marketo Engage. Found something that changed? Tell us at support.
Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.
The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.
Check if [software] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
