# The app that needs a real server runs here too.

When your code is more than a function under /api, run the whole app or server. Bring your own image, or let your chat send the source of a Node or Python app. It goes live on your site and your domain, and you never set up a server.

Run my Next.js app on my site and keep it on for webhooks.

`deploy_container`the source of a Node app, always on

`get_container`built, scanned and healthy: version 1 is live

Live. The next version only takes over once it answers.

## What you get.

- **A full app or server** A framework server like Next.js, Express, Django or FastAPI, long requests, websockets, native libraries or background work. Every path of your site and its own domain go to it.

- **From an image or from source** Bring a public image, or send the source of a Node or Python app. No Dockerfile needed: the dependencies are installed, scanned for known vulnerabilities and malicious packages, and built into an image.

- **New versions without downtime** A new version starts next to the old one and only gets traffic once its health check answers. If it never does, the old version keeps running.

- **Logs your chat can read** Requests, starts and stops, health checks and every outbound call, allowed or refused. Seven days, never bodies or secrets.

- **Roll back in one sentence** The ten newest versions are kept. An earlier one goes live again after the same health check.

- **Asleep when nobody visits** By default it sleeps after five minutes without traffic and wakes on the next request within seconds. Keep it on for webhooks and realtime.

- **Keys stay in the vault** Your code names the key it needs and the key is added on the way out. The container never sees the value.

- **Only the hosts you allow** Outbound, a container reaches the addresses on its list over HTTPS. Anything else is refused and shows in the log.

## What it costs.

Containers come with Reachable and Business. Reachable includes 50 vCPU hours and 200 GiB hours a month, Business 200 vCPU hours and 1,000 GiB hours; Business also runs more containers, bigger sizes and more instances. Above that you pay per use from your balance, and a sleeping container costs nothing.

A container goes live once your company is verified or you have a prepaid balance.
