# Connect Kolibri to Hypamoon

Possible, with help from Kolibri. The API is documented, but you cannot just create a key: access goes through Kolibri first.

Possible

## The check

Three questions about the API of Kolibri, answered from its own docs.

**Public API docs**\
**Yes.** The overview, identity server and webhook pages are public; the core API reference and Swagger need a portal login. [Read the docs](https://development.kolibri24.com/docs/)

**A key you create yourself**\
**No.** Clients are AppXchange or media partners; agencies then choose which clients may see their data. No self-service client registration is described. [development.kolibri24.com](https://development.kolibri24.com/)

**Versions or a changelog**\
**Not confirmed.** SiteLink has numbered versions, but no versioning or changelog was found for the core API. [development.kolibri24.com](https://development.kolibri24.com/sitelink/)

**How it signs in**\
OAuth 2.0 through the Kolibri Identity Server: client ID and secret for server to server clients, or a login by the agent for user facing apps; tokens are JWTs.

**Webhooks**\
**Yes.** It can tell your app when something changes. [development.kolibri24.com](https://development.kolibri24.com/webhooks/)

**Hosting**\
Cloud

**Condition**\
API clients are set up as Kolibri partners, and each agency must give consent.

## What you can build

Read listings and relations of an agency that gives consent, and push leads into Kolibri CRM.

Your chat writes it as a Hypamoon adapter from the docs above. Reading starts after you click Allow in the portal, and every write waits for your approval, one call at a time. [How adapters work](https://hypamoon.com/docs/adapters)

### Good to know

- Kolibri signs in with OAuth or signed requests only, with tokens that expire. The Hypamoon vault holds a fixed key today, so an adapter for Kolibri takes more work: ask your chat to check this first.
- Three APIs: AppXchange for apps on Kolibri CRM, a media partner API for bulk listing data, and SiteLink for agency websites. Webhook URLs are configured by Kolibri.

## Try it in your chat

First get access from Kolibri. Then fill in what to read and write, and send it.

Say this in your chat

> Build the Hypamoon recipe build-an-adapter for Kolibri. API docs: https://development.kolibri24.com/docs/. Read: \[what\]. Write: \[what, or nothing\].

In Claude, or another chat with the full Hypamoon connection; adapters are not in ChatGPT yet. You paste the key in the portal, never in the chat. [The full recipe](https://hypamoon.com/r/build-an-adapter)

## Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.

The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.

Say this in your chat

> Check if \[software\] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.

Fill in the name of your software. Checking needs no connection to Hypamoon.
