# Connect ChannelEngine to Hypamoon

We could not confirm it. ChannelEngine passes some of our checks, but not all three could be confirmed from its own docs.

Unknown

## The check

Three questions about the API of ChannelEngine, answered from its own docs.

**Public API docs**\
**No.** The API reference now sits behind a ChannelEngine login. [Read the docs](https://docs.channelengine.net)

**A key you create yourself**\
**Not confirmed.**

**Versions or a changelog**\
**Not confirmed.**

**How it signs in**\
Merchant API key sent in a header, on your own ChannelEngine subdomain.

**Webhooks**\
**Not confirmed.**

**Hosting**\
Cloud

## What you can do instead

Ask ChannelEngine whether they offer API access to customers. If a public API appears, ask your chat to check it again.

- Your adapter uses a fixed key: you paste it once in the Hypamoon portal, never in the chat, and it only goes to the API host you allow.
- The API reference is only shown after you sign in with a ChannelEngine account.

## Tool not listed? Ask the chat to check its API.

The same three checks work for any software. Your chat reads the vendor's own docs and tells you what it found.

Say this in your chat

> Check if \[software\] has an open API that a Hypamoon adapter can use: public API docs, a key or token I can create myself without asking the vendor, and versions or a changelog. Link the pages you used.
